He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Thérèse (Lemieux); his brother Gilbert; and his uncle Father Marcel. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Patrick (Courtney) and Katie; his sisters, Julianna (Jacques), Claudette and Jacqueline; his sisters-in-law, Breda (Philip) and Marian (Paul); and his pet Lennon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
