He was predeceased by: his parents, Donat Blais and Thérèse Blais; and his siblings, Jacques and Gervaise. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Michelle Blais (Caroline Schailleé) of Toronto, Lisa Blais of Toronto and Darryl Blais (Lori) of Ottawa; his grandson Mack Blais; and his sister Lucille Desormiers (late Grégoire) of Sturgon Falls.
