It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth (Plumley) Hovinga of Whitney, Ontario, who passed away on July 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Plumley and Luella Plumley; her granddaughter Amelia Angel; and her stepfather Alfred Dillenbeck. She is survived by : her children, Aaron Hovinga (Shelly) of Lake St, Tarrah Hovinga (Kyle) of Whitney and Lindsay-Ann Gendron (Matt) of Port Severn; her grandchildren, Coral (Jordan), Sierra (Brady), Alaina, Karmyn, Ainsley and Rhys; her great grandchildren, Jarrett, Oaklyn and Isaac; and her brother Richard Plumley (Liz).

Due to COVID-19, visitation and service restrictions will be in place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Francis Valley Heath Care Foundation (Valley Manor) would be appreciated by the family.
