He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Ewing (Dargavel) and John Ewing; his siblings, Stuart (Ruth), James and Jean Isbester; and his son-in-law Alex Kordics.

He is survived by: his wife Bea Ewing; his children, Cheryl Ewing of Kitchener, Sandy Ewing of Alberta and Susan Ewing of Wiarton; his granddaughters, Lisa (Shawn) and Jessica; and his sister-in-law Sheila Ewing of Wiarton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Expressions of remembrance to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce would be appreciated.
