He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Saunders and Betty Saunders; and his sibling Bert. He is survived by : his wife Janet Saunders (Lockwood); his son Dwayne Lockwood (Amanda) of Wilberforce; his grandson Stuart; his siblings, Ernie (Roslin), Katie and Barbara (Willy); and his siblings-in-law, Wayne, Arnold (Meta), Ronald, Brian (Doreen), Delbert, Daryl, Joyce (Jim), Dale, Glen, Jimmy, Kevin and Susan (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #624, Wilberforce, would be appreciated by the family.
