She was predeceased by: her spouse Garnet "Sage" Barkley; her son Calvin; her grandson Micheal; and her siblings, Darlene Crites, Stanley, Morley, Morton, Cameron, Leslie and Brian Crites.

She is survived by: her children, Gary (Laurie) of Williamsburg, Larry (Rhonda) of Ingleside, Sandra Cumming (Jim) of Winchester and Tracy Johnston (Lyndon) of Williamsburg; her siblings, June Fobare of Rennselaar Falls and Winnie James of Morrisburg; her grandchildren, Julie, Crystal, Mitchel (Kim), Matthew (Lori), Brittany (John), Amanda (Gary), Michael (Lisa), Patricia, Anthony (Caroline) and Stacey; and her great grandchildren, Madilynn, Emmitt, Faythe, Quinn, Emerson, Charleigh, Nolan, Xavier, Theodore, Naomie and Loni. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
