He was predeceased by: his parents, Mansel Brownlee and Alma Brownlee of Chesterville; and his sisters, Lois Quartus, Betty Merkley and Margaret Carruthers.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lorraine Cross (Jack) of Peachland, B. C. and Brian Brownlee (Louise) of Oakville; his brothers-in-law, John Carruthers of Morrisburg and Gary Merkley of Chesterville; and his cousin Doug Holmes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
