He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Cooper and Minnie Rose Cooper; and his brother Harold Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Rita Cooper; his children, Rob Cooper (Susan) of Belleville, Jim Cooper (Janet) of Embrun and Debbie Hodgson (Lyall) of Lasalle; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Constable (Saj Manoharan), Dylan Cooper, Kaitlyn Hodgson (Jon Nguyen), Lindsay Hodgson, Megan Cooper and Mackenzie Cooper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home (12318 County Rd 18, Williamsburg, ON K0C 2H0). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
