He was predeceased by: his parents, Alv Seim and Ethel Seim; his brother-in-law Ken Gassner; and his cousins, Bobby Vennard, Audrey Vennard, Arthur Berg, Clifford Berg, Larry Seim and Carol Morgan.
He is survived by: his close friend Donna Laporte; his siblings, Glenda Kaddie of Cornwall, Lynn Robertson of Winchester, Wenda Gassner of Stony Plain, Alberta and Oron Seim of Calgary; his siblings' children, Krystal (Joel), Tara (Kevin), Emily (Thomas), Chris, Kyle (Erin), Justin, Todd (Diane), Chelsea and Tyler (Kelsey); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Fin, Rylee, Autumn, Obi, Braven, Rosemae, Griffin, Scout and Lukas.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home (12318 County Rd 18, Williamsburg, ON K0C 2H0).
