He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph B. Shields and Dorothy Shields of Georgetown, Ontario.. He is survived by : his wife Nancy of Iroquois; his sons, Lance, Lee (Helen) and Laurance; and his granddaughters, Skye and Paige.

Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
