David Charles Holmes Obituary
We bid farewell to David Charles Holmes of Winchester, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2025 at the age of 70. David Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret "Peggy" Holmes and Charles Murray Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Karen (Koekkoek); his children, Mindy, Tiffany (Colman) and Matthew Holmes (Jessica); his grandchildren, Gwen and Theo Holmes; and his siblings, Stephen Holmes, Nancy Fawcett (late Roger), Thomas Holmes (Nancy Ace), Mary Jane Larose (Terry), Jo-Anne Grisel (Ricky), Vicki Holmes and Clarence Holmes (Kelly). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (167 Queen St, Chesterville, ON K0C1H0).
Donations in memory of David may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
