He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Helmer and Leila Helmer; and his sister Darlene Windsor. He is survived by: his wife Linda Helmer; his children, Scott (Angela) of Reids Mills, Lisa Helmer (Pat Deevey) of Kingston and Kevin Helmer (Angie) of Chesterville; his siblings-in-law, Earl Windsor of Winchester, Beverly Barkley (Robert) of Chesterville and Joanne McMahon (late Brian) of Crysler; and his grandchildren, Josh, Sam, Morgan, Joey, Ty and Mason. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
