She was predeceased by : her parents, George Acres and Lula Acres (Hill); her husband Woodrow Holmes; and her siblings, Lorne, Doug, Lillian and Geraldine.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Peggy Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Betty may be made to Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
