He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Ault and Margaret Ault; his siblings, Patsy Ault, Betty Graham (Gordon), Frank Ault (Pat) and Wendell Ault; and his siblings-in-law, Ardith Onland (George), Mac and Gordon Shepherd.
He is survived by: his spouse Bev Ault; his daughters, Michelle Ault (Shawn Hickey) of Inkerman and Julie Vandemheen (Marty) of South Mountain; his siblings, Marguerite (Al Beckstead) of Spencerville and Walter Ault (Tawnya) of Toronto; his siblings-in-law, Isobel Ault of Brinston, Shirley Cassidy (late Alton) of Lucan, Murray Shepherd of Napanee, Doug Shepherd (Carol) of Brinston and Joan Larmour (Allan) of Winchester; and his grandchildren, Julia, Shaina and Nathan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
