As we bid Aileen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Aileen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William East and Hilda East. She is survived by: her husband David; her daughter Catherine Walker (Ryan); and her grandchildren, Lily and Nigel.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W1C7).
Memorial donations in memory of Aileen may be made to the Windsor/Essex Humane Society.
