He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kullervo and Kalervo (Ingegerd); and his niece Päivi. He is survived by: his wife Nilla; his children, Sari (Robert), Ari (Faye) and Petri (Justyna); his grandchildren, Samuel (Jamie), Julia (Brandon), Simon, Emma, Ava, Lila and Sylvia; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Braxton and Henry. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Families First (3260 Dougall Ave, WINDSOR, ON N9E 1S6). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
