He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kullervo and Kalervo (Ingegerd); and his niece Päivi. He is survived by: his wife Nilla; his children, Sari (Robert), Ari (Faye) and Petri (Justyna); his grandchildren, Samuel (Jamie), Julia (Brandon), Simon, Emma, Ava, Lila and Sylvia; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Braxton and Henry. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
