Alina Zalewski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alina Zalewski (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Władysław; her children, Zofia Popławski (Tadeusz), Józef Zalewski and Jan Zalewski; her grandson Adam; her siblings, Amelia Barnaś and Bolesław Szumikowski; and her siblings-in-law, Wacław Zalewski (Amelia) and Franciszek Zalewski (Zofia).
She is survived by: her children, Stanisław Zalewski (Krystyna), Tadeusz Zalewski, Bozena Falkowski (Krzysztof), Waldemar Zalewski (Danuta) and Mariusz Zalewski (Dorota); her grandchildren, Dan, Sylvia, Karl, Marta Popławski, Natalia Falkowski, Julia, Michael, Maria Zalewski of Windsor, Anna, Magda, Bartek Zalewski, Artur, Dalia, Diana, Damian, Justyna Zalewski, Seweryn and Filip Zalewski; her sister Teresa Pęska; and her sibling-in-law Bolesława Skowrońska (late Wacław). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In kindness, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Polish Church Building Fund, The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has instituted the following directive: "The new maximum number of people who can be at a funeral home at one time (not including staff) is 10 or fewer.
