Amalia left this world on August 17, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Domenico Magri; her children, Arthur (Jo-Anne), Susan Bertoia and Angelo (Diane); her grandchildren, Louis Bertoia (Laura), Beatrice Costante (David), Domenic Bertoia (Leesa), Stephanie Magri (Liem Pham), Erica Caruana (Brandon), Andrew Magri (Aileen Worrall), Christopher Magri (Lindsay Paling), Christina Magri and Robert Magri (Kirsti); her parents, Sabatino Sbrocca and Carmela Sbrocca; her in-laws, Arturo and Assunta Magri; her family, Michelino Sbrocca, Nicolino, Lino Sbrocca (Rosaria), Angelina Sbrocca, Pat Sbrocca, Mike Sbrocca (Cheryl) and Luigi Magri (Assunta); and also, Louis, Analisa, Giuliana, Francesco, Claudia, Adriana, Isabella, Sophia, Amalia, Domenic, Gioia and Leah.
She is survived by: her family, Marina, Camino, Tony Magri and Joanne Lucas (Ron); and her siblings, Marina and Pat. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Families First (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd W, Windsor, ON N9G1C4).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Autism Ontario West Region – Essex or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
