She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Battista and Angela Sangiorgi; her in-laws, Vincenzo and Angela Taranto; her brothers, Giuseppe Sangiorgi (Vincenza) and Vito Sangiorgi (Rose); and her siblings-in-law, Vito Taranto (Diana), Rosa Catanzaro (late Vito) and Robert Taranto (Maureen).

She is survived by: her husband Giuseppe Taranto; her children, Vince Taranto (Sherry), John Taranto (Anne), Angie Oliverio (John) and Vito Taranto (Jeannette); her grandchildren, Vince (Angel), Joey, Gaspare, Daniel, Amanda (TJ), Kayla (Joe), Michael (Anissa), Carter (Chelsey), Haley (Stephon), Sam (Barbi), Bianca, Allyshia, Jacqueline (Phuc), Joseph, Xavier, Natalia, Faith, Riley, Michaela, Emily, Nolan, Isola, Kaden, Oliver, Beau and Santino; and her sisters-in-law, Maria Faraci (late Isidoro), Sara Vitale (late Giuseppe) and Nancy Olivito (late Sam). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S4). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (4401 Mt Royal Dr, Windsor, ON N9G 2C5). An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
