She was predeceased by: her son Kenneth; her parents, Julius Cerget and Gizela Cerget; and her brother John. She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Christopher (Margaret), Brian (Deanna) and Laura (Peter Dobrich); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Spencer, Forrest, Garrett, Landis, Brennan, Kendra, Aleksandar, Danijela and Stefan.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A prayer was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 67 Main St W, Kingsville, ON N9Y1H4.
