He was predeceased by: his parents, Hlias and Labrini; and his brothers, George (Athena) and Demosthenes (Zaharoula). He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Bonnie Sitaras (Jim), Lou Mavrantzas (Sevy), Maria (Tyler), Niki, Tommy and Dimitri; and his siblings, Athena Katsikis (late Alexandros), Konstantina Makrodimitris (late Konstantinos) of Greece and Bill (Olga). He is also survived by brothers-in law, sisters-in law, and many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Athanasios' name to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox.
