She is survived by: her husband Donald Akins; her children, Jada and Dallas Akins; her nieces and nephews, Katie, Kayla Henderson, Ayden Couvillion, Mary Akins, Dominic Akins, Crystal Smith, Shaneca Smith and Deangelo Akins; her siblings, John Bendick and Kathryn Henderson; and her siblings-in-law, Sheree, Kitty and Latonia Akins.
