She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Mae Vincent and Amos Fletcher Sims; her grandparents, John Sims, Addie (Timbers), John Vincent and Mary (Timbers); her daughter Deborah; her grandparents, Gabriel, Nahla, Grace, Kaius, Reese, Rylee and Amara; her siblings, John Franklin Sims (Sara), Darlene Highgate (Ralph) and Donelda Curry; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Johnson (Zip), Eloise Rhue (Carl) and Phyllis Gardner Agnes Ellsworth (George).
She is survived by: her spouse Wayman Walter Scott; her children, Murray (Leslie), Diane, Christine (Preston) and Curtis (Stacy); her grandchildren, Kiesha, Nerissa, Elyse, Samantha, Brandon, Kristen, Michael, Ashley, Curtis Jr., Tyler, Rosalyn, Robin, Abby and Kale; her friend Donna Soulliere; her brothers, Amos Sims Jr. and Glen Sims (Carmel); her sisters-in-law, Guelda Jones and Katherine McMullen (Vincent); Sebastian. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
