He was predeceased by: his spouse Janet Barlow (Sheldrick); his son David Barlow; and his brothers, Douglas, Murray and Keith Barlow.

He is survived by: his children, Howard Barlow and Debora Pigden (David) of San Diego; his grandchildren, Sarah Sousa (Dan) and Kimberly Lauzon (Nick); his great grandchildren, Ryan Sousa and Natalie Sousa; his sibling Beth Porter (Dana); his sister-in-law Marie Barlow; his sibling's children, Peter Sheldrick and Gordon Barlow; and his parents, Henry Summers Barlow and Alice Smith.

As per Dr. Blake's wishes, in lieu of donations or flowers, please take a close friend to lunch.
