He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie; his siblings, Arthur Pye (late Joan) and Kennon Pye (late Jane); and his siblings-in-law, Jack Siddle (Sally) and Darlene Barnard (late Stan).

He is survived by: his children, Kelley Smith (Andrew) and Brenda Munger (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Alex, Jarrod, Dylan, Logan and Chelsea.
