She was predeceased by: her parents, Guisippina Mancina and Angela Mele; and her siblings-in-law, Maria Bonasso (late Salavtore), Saverio Mele (Lina), Isabel Sciarrotta (late Frank), Guiseppe Mele (Rosina) and Albina Pignanelli (Antonio).
She is survived by: her husband Giovanni Mele; her children, Louie G. Mele (Antonietta), Angela Kaschalk (Tom) and Ross Mele (Florence); her grandchildren, Gian (Kat), Laura, Michael Stephanie (Pamela) and Patrick; and her sibling Barberina Astorino (Luigi). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends.
