The family announces the passing of Catherine M. (Costigan) Macdonald (Windsor, Ontario) on September 25, 2026. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Macdonald; and her parents, Charles Frederick "Ted" and Gertrude Isabel Costigan. She is survived by: her children, David (Karen) and Gillian (Mladen Barbaric); her grandchildren, Maya, Elliot Macdonald, Abigail and Owen Frank Barbaric; and her family, Tim (Carol), Dan (Gloria), Peg Eizinas (Al), Jim (Betsy) and Gerry (Charlene).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Atonement Church (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, where Cathy volunteered for 25 years, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
