With sadness, we share the passing of Claver Gaitan (Windsor, Ontario). Claver, born on September 9, 1947, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Claver for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Claver’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Francisco; and her children, Jose Ignacio, Soraya (Oscar), Frank (Tara), Herschell and Wilfredo (Stefanie). She was also cherished by brothers, sisters, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Email Notes Knights of Columbus (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in memory of Claver may be made to one of her favourite charities, the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
