We bid farewell to David Charles Cakebread (Windsor, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2024 at the age of 79. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George and Yvonne; his brother Peter (Linda); and his brother-in-law Bill Pulleyblank. He is survived by : his sister Susan Pulleyblank; and also Susan Cakebread. He is also survived by niece and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Families First (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
