He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth and William Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his brother-in-law Neville Dearsley of British Columbia; his sibling's children, Bernard, Kenneth of Windsor and Julie of Florida; his great-nieces, Hannah, Cordy and Kara; and his great-nephew Evan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cremation Has Taken Place and Memorial (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
