As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dorees may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Yousif Bakos; her parents, Wadeea Jirjees and Rosa Jirjees; and her brother Morris. She is survived by: her children, Yusra Daheen (Natek), Bob Bakos (Joyce) and Khalid Bakos (Yazan); and her brother Sebah Jirjees. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
