He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Astrid "Ozzie"; his brother Jack; his parents-in-law, Guido and Severina Fantin; and his brother-in-law Elvy Fantin.
He is survived by: his wife Noemi; his children, Brian, Amy and Sarah Budd (Ken); his grandchildren, Dakota (Steven), Severina, Isabel and Parker; his siblings, Kathleen Friend (Jim Trueman) and Robert Friend (Irene); and his siblings-in-law, John Fantin (Gloria) and Gail Fantin. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful supporting friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Doug to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Downtown Mission of Windsor.
