We announce the death of Douglas Haffner (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on June 8, 2026. Douglas will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Douglas will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Douglas’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Simon and Carl (Leslie); his grandchildren, Garret, Kaylee and Clark; and his sisters, Cathy Regis and Cyn Smith (Rob). He is also survived by his family, friends.
