With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith Somodi (Windsor, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edith shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edith farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her daughter Lisa Ilan; and her sister Magdalene Havadtoy. She is survived by: her children, Judith Hecnar (Mark) and Steven Somodi; and her sister Eva Bartha.
