It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Albert Roemmele Md of Windsor, Ontario, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Edna; his former wife Anne Steele Roemmele; and his siblings, Ivan, Phyllis, Fred and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Isobel Roemmele; his daughters, Beth (Harold Hemstad) and Susan (Terry Peach); his grandchildren, Megan (Ian Haessler), Andrew and Katie (Iain Lounsbury); his stepdaughters, Anne (Matt Keeley), Pam (Randy Leavitt) and Joan (Shane Ostrom); his grandchildren, Jenny (Matt), David (Kelly), Kristy (Scott), Shari (Travis), Allie and Julie; his great grandchildren, Edi, Wells and Carly; and also Lachlyn Haessler.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family funeral will be held at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre, 1969 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor (519) 252-5711.
