He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lachance and Grace Lachance; his siblings, Alfred, Donald, Dorothy Renaud, Elaine Gignac (Norm), Shirley Lachance and Doris Cushman (Jim); his brother-in-law Paul Tetreault; and also Harvey Bouffard.

He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Regis and Alice Tetreault; his wife Janet; his children, Mitchell (Theresa), Bradley (Karen), Brenda Fletcher (Brian) and Kelson (Edyta); his brother Ron Lachance (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Cecile Lachance (Fred), Doris Pillon (Rosaire) and Edmund Tetreault (Joanne).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1M3).

Monetary donations to the Food Bank are also welcomed.
