It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Adella Durocher-Garant (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Donald Garant and George Durocher; her sister Angela; and her parents, Anna and Norman.
She is survived by: her children, Connie (Martine Huysmans) of Quebec, Dan (Marilyn) of LaSalle, Suzanne Speller of LaSalle and Nicole Harris (Keith) of Troy, Michigan.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Parish (1425 Divine St, LaSalle, ON N9J0C5). A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery.
