She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Maria and Johann Knies; her brothers, Johann, Heinrich and Jakob Knies; and her siblings-in-law, Gustav, Peter, Amile, Albert and Emma Herman.
She is survived by: her uncle Henry Stark of Windsor; her husband Edmund Wachsmann; her daughters, Linda (late Keith Nicholson) and Liz (Mark Giguere); her grandchildren, Vanessa (Tim Woolley), Sasha Gilbey, Nathan Gilbey, Rosemary Nicholson and Emily Giguere; her great grandchildren, Thomas and Patrick; and her friends, John Bettridge, Margaret Murray-Bettridge and Inga Gross of Kitchener.
