Ethel Ajachuku Greene Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Ajachuku Greene (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel Ajachuku Greene to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Ajachuku Emanuel Spencer and Doris Ethel Ayodele Spencer; her husband Christie Durojaiye Windsor Greene; and her siblings, Lemuella Spencer Logan, Ngozika and Emeka.

She is survived by: her sons, Harold (Minelle) of Windsor, Ontario, Raymond (Sunita) of Macomb, Illinois and Erwin (Erika) of Athens, Georgia.; her grandchildren, GeorgeAnna, Ethan, Harold and Evan; and her brothers, Chukudinka (Waltina) and Chiqua. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Victoria Memorial Gardens (1185 ON-3, Oldcastle, ON N0R1L0).

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to organizations which support immigrant women, in honour of Ethel's dedication to service and community.
