He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughter Florence Heather; his grandchildren, Gene Heather (Kimberly) and Carmella Nichol (Robert); his great grandchildren, Anthony (Alexandra), Jordan (Penny), Nathan (Billy Joe), Brieanna and Brandy-Lynn; his great great grandchild Madilyn Rose; his siblings, Mildred Shaheen, Tony Diodati, Hellen McCrory and Mary Harmon; and his friends, Bob and Susan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Gene to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
