He was predeceased by : his son David; his mother Hazel; and his stepfather Evan Lee. He is survived by : his spouse Beverley; his children, Lynn (Jeff MacDonald) and Robert (Donna); and his grandchildren, Natalie, Josh, Meaghan, Mitchell, Mario, Stephanie (Brielle), Stevan and Ashley (Stevan).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, and Alzheimer's Society of Windsor and Essex County.
