Faridah Sayegh Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Faridah Sayegh (Windsor, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Faridah left this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Faridah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Faridah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Mary; her husband Nimer; her nieces, Ghada and Mary; her sister-in-law Jackleen; Lulu.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W1C7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church (1808 Labelle St, Windsor, ON N9E1B4).
