It is with sadness that the passing of Ferdo Cerkez (Windsor, Ontario) is shared. Ferdo, born on November 22, 1936, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ferdo will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Ferdo by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Ferdo is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Ferdo’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Veselka; and his children, Mirko Cerkez (Sheila), Helen Taylor (Jason) and Eva Field (Jeff). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
