He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane Bernatchez; his children, Colleen Kavanaugh, Fernand Bernatchez and Charlene Bernatchez (Larry Parent); his grandchildren, Candice Kavanaugh, Crystal Kavanaugh (Mike Gray), Cindy Kavanaugh (Jennifer Kavanaugh), Benjamin Bernatchez, Bradley Bernatchez, Morgan Bernatchez and Neil Kavanaugh (Michaela Thibert); his great grandchildren, Cornel Odane Kavanaugh, Janeil Wash, Destiny Brewster, Hailey Trombley, Jayden Kavanaugh-Wallace, Kohen Reynolds, Xavier Kavanaugh-Wallace, Kinsley Thibert, Aria Kavanaugh, Indie Kavanaugh, Roman Yassine and Zahmari Bernatchez; and his sister Anita Dagget.
