He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa DiMaio; his parents, Giuseppe DiMaio and Martina Cocca; his brothers, Carlo and Saverio DiMaio; and his siblings-in-law, Angelo Cardillo and Serafina Cardillo.

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Carlina Cardillo and Rosina DiMaio; and his nieces and nephews, Pina Raimondo (Tony), Frank D'Agata (Letizia), Joe DiMaio (Rosa), Martha DiMaio Cardillo (Mauro), John Cardillo (Maria) and Antonella Grubisich (Chris). He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
