With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Fredrick Altenhof (Windsor, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Fredrick departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Fredrick may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Fredrick leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Altenhof and Margaret Altenhof; and his wife Evelyn Altenhof. He is survived by: his children, Dena Altenhof, Karen Robson (Keith) and Jamie Altenhof (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Shannon, Devon, Jessica and Tyler. He is also survived by his extended family, including brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON N8W1Z6).
