He was predeceased by: his brothers, Douglas and William. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Sharyl Marcella (Peter), Elizabeth McKay-Hayward (Bruce), Geoffrey McKay and Douglas McKay (Kellie); his grandchildren, Colin (Amy), Ali (Brent), Brett (Ali), Taylor (Teanna), Jadyn and Hailey; his brother James McKay; and his children, Emma and Ethan.
