It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Alebakis (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Alebakis to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fana Alebakis (Manola) and Tanas Alebakis; and his siblings, Para (Stase) and Vasil (Kata). He is survived by: his daughters, Fana and Tina Kirincic (Andrew); his siblings, Kata (Vane) and Risto (Lenka); his grandchildren, Marisa, Brandon, Tatjana, Isabella and Angelina; his son-in-law Andrew; and his wife Potsa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Program or Hospice.
