He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinko Bernik and Anna Bernik. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Née Masaro); his children, Brian (Lindsay), Annie Sheardown (Brad) and George Jr.; his grandchildren, Addison, Everett, Nolan and Benson; his siblings, John (Marta), Mark (Veronica), Mary Ann Wypych (Ted) and Joan Recchia (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Willick (Dave), Rick Masaro (Charlene), Carol Martinello (Rick), Donna Thompson (Colin) and Nancy Morand (John Hart).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1M3).
