He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Brown and Edith Brown; and his siblings, Peter Brown (Theresa), Dorothy (Sam Thorton) and Barbara (Fred Teaney).

He is survived by: his wife Carol Brown; his children, Bonnie Brown (Jim), Brenda Brown (Ken), Curtis Brown (Laura) and George Brown Jr.; his pet Rocky; his grandchildren, Robert (Katie), Scotty, Jacob, Zac, Julia (Johnny), Brandon, Curtis Jr. and Anna; his great grandchildren, Kyliee and Alaina; and his sister-in-law Cheryl (Gary Shean).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (777 Tecumseh Rd W, Windsor, ON N8X1H4).
